Warranty

The manufacturer offers a warranty for structural integrity of 15 years plus a 5 year finish and wear warranty. The warranty guarantees the surface will not peel within the indicated time period as long as the bamboo floor is maintained and cared for in a proper manner and laid in accordance with the installation instructions on this website. This warranty covers the above from the date of purchase. The warranty only applies to bamboo being used in dry residential environments which are free from moisture. The warranty does not guarantee flooring installed above under-floor heating systems unless otherwise stated on the invoice. Strict procedures of quality control at the factory ensures that the bamboo is free of defects. However, as bamboo is a natural product, we cannot guarantee variations in colour. The flooring must still be inspected prior to installation, fully acclimatised, and handled and maintained as per our instructions, which can be obtained from the website. Damage caused by improper installation, handling or usage resulting in scratches, dents, reduction in finish sheen, or damage to surrounding areas is not covered by this warranty. Any defective boards must be returned to the Panda Flooring Company before installation commences- under no circumstances will we replace boards after they have been installed. Installation of the flooring shall be regarded as acceptance. Inspection of the boards must be done at the acclimatisation stage. The warranty does not cover damage or defect caused during transportation or by improper storage or handling after purchase. Damage caused to the floor as a result of installation, structural changes in, or non-levelling of, the sub-floor, exposure to sunlight and weather, extremes of temperature and humidity, dampness or moisture, natural ageing effects of the floor (i.e: fading or darkening, colour variation etc), seperation of boards due to expansion and contraction caused by the bamboo boards not being acclimatised in the proper manner, seasonal and temperature changes, or any form of abuse, neglect, damage by caustic cleaning substances or chemical spillage is not covered by the warranty. Felt protection pads to be fitted to the legs of all furniture i.e: tables, chairs etc that will be in contact with the bamboo flooring are strongly recommended. It is the customer's responsibility to acclimatise the flooring correctly before it is laid. Failure to observe any of the above invalidates the warranty.Floor layers and floor laying companies are responsible for their own guarantee of workmanship. This is to be arranged between the customer and the floor laying company. The warranty does not extend to any damage caused by the installer of the floor or any third party in contact with the floor.Bamboo outdoor decking is not covered by the warranty once it has been laid. Any faulty boards will be replaced before they are laid if they are returned to the Panda Flooring Company for inspection.

The decision to replace or refund remains at the sole discretion of the manufacturer.

ANY GOODS BEING RETURNED TO US MUST BE DONE SO IN THE CONDITION IN WHICH THEY WERE SENT IN (i.e: CONTAINED IN THEIR ORIGINAL PACKAGING). THEY MUST BE DELIVERED TO OUR WAREHOUSE WITHIN 21 DAYS OF RECEIPT OF THE GOODS. REFUNDS WILL ONLY BE GIVEN UPON OUR RECEIPT AND INSPECTION OF THE GOODS BY PANDA FLOORING COMPANY.

Please note that we do not accept returns for reasons other than defect or damage so please ensure that you order correctly.

Failure to settle any invoice in full within 30 days of delivery invalidates the warranty.

The warranty is not transferable.
